How do I get started as an investor with DigitalBit?

You can get started as an investor with DigitalBit here. The entire account creation and investment process is completed online via the DigitalBit website. You will be prompted to provide or verify any required information, as well as make the necessary acknowledgements electronically.

What types of accounts does DigitalBit support?

We currently support personal investment accounts, joint accounts, and certain entity accounts (Trusts, Limited Liability Companies, Limited Partnerships, C Corporations, and S Corporations).

What is the minimum investment?

Cryptocurrency investment: $1,000

Real estate investment: $10,000

How do you keep my personal information secure?

DigitalBit uses bank-level security for our investor's protection. Investor information is encrypted with an AES bit symmetric key, the same as level as the largest commercial banks. Each investor’s connection to DigitalBit is always encrypted over HTTPS with Transport Layer Security (TLS). DigitalBit applications and data are physically located in multiple secure data centers. We utilize Amazon Web Services for our hosting which is compliant with numerous security certifications.

How do I fund my investment?

You can fund your account using bitcoins, ethereum, litecoin, dashcoin and we also accept bank transfers for certain capital amounts and also in cases where the investor has limited access to purchase the required cryptocurrency. We are unable to accept credit/debit cards at the moment.

How can I change my personal information in my DigitalBit account?

Log into your DigitalBit account and click "Edit Account" to enter the personal information page where you will be able to modify your data. Save the changes when all necessary data are entered. However, you may not modify your e-mail because this function is disabled for security reasons. To make such changes you should contact us via support form and provide full information with your security answer.

What if I can't access my DigitalBit account because I forgot my password?

Click on forgot password link, enter your username or e-mail and follow instruction. You'll receive your account reset information by email.

Do you charge any fee for providing your investment services?

No, we do not charge any fees. The profit that we make from our overall investments is enough for us. We do not need to charge any fees for any transaction, however, payment processors may charge you with receiving fees and we have no control over that.

How long does it take for my deposit to be added to my account?

Your account will be updated as soon as you send payment. For Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies deposits, it can take up to a few hours and few working days for bank transfer.

Can I make numerous deposits simultaneously?

Yes, it is possible for you to have an unlimited number of deposits, but each of them will be processed separately.

Can you reinvest deposit without my participation?

Yes, for default this option works for some investment plans.

When can I expect a return on my investment and how will it be distributed?

generally speaking, DigitalBit investments are meant to be long-term and illiquid in nature. Any potential returns are expected to be paid out in two ways (i) via monthly distributions and (ii) via appreciation in asset value at the end of the asset’s investment term(applies to just REAL ESTATE). All distributions will be deposited into your primary bank account/cryptocurrency wallet on file unless you opt into our Dividend Reinvestment Program (DRIP).

How will I be updated on the progress of my investments?

The DigitalBit platform provides direct communication with investors, including ongoing reporting and updates on the status of your investment and the assets within your portfolio, as well as the delivery of tax filing and other relevant materials.

Can I reinvest my dividends?

Yes, The DigitalBit Dividend Reinvestment Program “DRIP” allows you to automatically reinvest the dividends you earn from your investments directly back into open offerings on the platform according to your plan.

Are there any fees associated with DRIP?

No. At this time, there are no fees associated with participating in the DigitalBit Dividend Reinvestment Program (DRIP).

Where are my dividends reinvested?

Your dividends are reinvested into open offerings on the platform according to your selected investment plan.

Can I opt out of dividend reinvestment at any time?

Yes. You may opt out of DRIP at any time. However, please note that you must do so prior to the end of the quarter in order for your selection to be applied to that quarter’s dividends.

Can I invest more after my initial investment?

Yes, after placing your first investment you can place as many subsequent follow-on investments as you would like.

Do you accept installment payments?

No, we do not accept installment payments at this time.

What is two-factor authentication?

Two-Factor Authentication (2FA) is an optional security feature. Once enabled, a six-digit security code, either generated by a mobile phone app or texted to you by Fundrise, will be required along with your password when logging in to your account. This adds an additional layer of account security if your password is compromised.

How do I enable two-factor authentication?

Enabling two-factor authentication only takes a couple of minutes, please see instructions below:

  1. Log in to DigitalBit and go to the Security section of your account settings.
  2. Under Two-Factor Authentication, click “Enable”. For security reasons, you will be asked to re-enter your password.
  3. Select “authentication app” or “text message”.
  4. If you selected “authentication app,” scan the Quick Response (QR) code with your mobile phone app (for example, Google Authenticator). If you selected “text message,” you will receive a text message to the phone number you selected with the first security code to enter. After entering that code, two-factor authentication will be enabled.

I lost my two-factor authentication device. What should I do?
